Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your visit — such as your preferences — and to function correctly.

This site primarily uses localStorage (a browser-based storage mechanism with similar properties to cookies) rather than traditional HTTP cookies. The effect for you is the same: small pieces of data are stored in your browser to remember your preferences.

Cookie categories we use

We divide our cookies into three categories. You can choose which non-essential categories to allow.

1. Strictly Necessary

These are required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled. They do not track you or collect information that could be used for advertising.

2. Analytics

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website — which pages they visit, how long they stay, and how they arrived. This information is used in aggregate to improve content and the user experience.

Tool: Plausible Analytics — a privacy-first analytics tool hosted in the EU. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individuals across sites. Data is aggregated and anonymised. See Plausible's privacy policy.

What is tracked: page views, referral sources, browser/device type, and the following conversion events: Guided Assessment Click, Calendly Click, Contact Email Click, LinkedIn Click.

Consent: Plausible only loads after you give analytics consent. If you reject analytics, no data is sent.

Analytics cookies are off by default. They only activate if you explicitly choose "Accept all" or enable analytics in your cookie preferences.

3. Marketing

Marketing cookies may be used to measure the reach of content or outreach campaigns. We do not use them to build advertising profiles or sell your data.

Current status: No marketing or tracking pixels are currently active. If we add any in future, they will only load after you give marketing consent, and this policy will be updated.

Marketing cookies are off by default and require explicit consent.

How to manage your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time:

  • Click the link in the footer of any page.
  • In the preferences modal, toggle analytics and marketing on or off, then click "Save preferences".
  • To withdraw all consent, choose "Reject non-essential".

Your preference is stored locally in your browser. It applies only to the device and browser you use. If you clear your browser data, you will be asked again on your next visit.

Browser-level controls

Most browsers allow you to view and clear cookies and localStorage. To do so:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Note that clearing site data will also remove your theme and consent preferences, so you will be asked for consent again on your next visit.

Third-party services

Google Fonts: This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may set cookies or request data from Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Calendly: If you use our scheduling link, Calendly may set its own cookies in accordance with Calendly's Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new tools or change how we use data. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update. If the changes are material, we will reset cookie consent so you can review and re-confirm your preferences.
